The Pink Un
A must for all Canaries fans. Always a brilliant and informative read.
Excellent app cheers lads
The Pink Un had a large following on their existing social channels. But, what they didn’t have was their own space for their community to thrive. They wanted to find a new way for their community to engage with their content. By launching their own app with Disciple, they’ve completely changed how fans interact with them, whilst giving them a space they can talk about all things Norwich FC.
The Pink Un wanted a new way to connect with their followers. Pink Un and Norwich City FC have a huge brand community and they wanted to tap into that by gathering that brand community into its own dedicated space.
Prior to launching their own community app, The Pink Un were using their website, email, social media and podcasts to engage their audience. By helping them launch their own community space, Disciple has helped the Pink Un gather all their separate audiences into one central community. This has revolutionised the way Pink Un fans connect and engage with each other and the football team they love.
The launch of the Pink Un app has taken the publication from static news site to interactive, social community destination. It’s a space where Canaries fans get the latest club news, start public and private conversations with other fans, watch livestreams and immerse themselves in the Pink Un experience.
And for The Pink Un, it’s a great way to increase fan engagement, unlock new revenue streams and build their thriving fan community. The app has seen 45% more engagement with content than on Pink Un’s Facebook page, meaning their fans are now getting to see more of the stuff they love: great content about their favourite football club. The Pink Un now have a home for all their Canaries.
