Customer Story
Jasmine Mays Fitness
“Disciple gives you back control of your business, your content and your client experience. It’s a Game Changer.”
OBJECTIVE
Jasmine Mays was struggling to manage her fitness courses on social media and found that having her clients on her Facebook was too much of an intrusion into her personal life. She needed her own space that would let her separate the two and organise her content in a clean, neat and structured way. Disciple has enabled her to achieve this and build a thriving community as a result.
STORY
Prior to contacting Disciple, Jasmine had been hosting her community on a Facebook Group. She found Facebook to be incredibly un-user friendly when it came to trying to organise her Group and her content. Keeping a clear structure for her programs was a challenge. Jasmine soon noticed that her members were equally frustrated with not being able to easily navigate through her content, and this resulted in members dropping out of her fitness programs. As well as losing her customers half-way through their courses, she also found that Facebook limited her clientele base greatly. Many people were adverse to using Facebook and because her courses were hosted entirely on the platform, many simply would not join.
Not only was she facing the above challenges, but Jasmine also felt uncomfortable that Facebook was in control of her content. Facebook controlled what content was and wasn’t seen by her community which meant a lot of her content wasn’t being seen by her members. To try and combat this, Jasmine ‘friended’ every one of her clients to make sure content was seen, but as a result of doing so, the line between her personal life and her business life had become blurred.
Jasmine grew fed up with losing her time, money and control over her data and content, so she contacted Disciple to find an alternative solution. Since launching her community platform with Disciple, Jasmine has been able to simplify her business. Jasmine no longer worries about her personal and professional life being mixed on her Facebook profile and has let go of any concerns she had about having to abide by Facebook’s rules in order to reach her community.
Jasmine is now able to easily organise all of her content in her Groups and store her content in relevant Folders in her own content library. She also has the added advantage of being able to Livestream her workouts to her members with better video quality than she had on Facebook and Zoom.
Jasmine’s members no longer struggle with navigating their way through her courses. As well as her content being organised in the way she likes it, she also has peace of mind knowing that her content is safe and doesn’t have to worry about Facebook deciding what is and isn’t seen. As a result, engagement has improved and her client base has broadened.
Since launching her community platform with Disciple, Jasmine has been able to avoid all of the challenges she originally faced with her Facebook Group and can now focus on doing what she enjoys, which is engaging her members and monetising her offering.
