THE CHALLENGE

Rod Stryker has built a thriving community around the teachings and lifestyle of Yoga Nidra. He’s also built a huge collection of online video classes and lessons to teach people the ways of Yoga Nidra. What he didn’t have was a dedicated space for all of his community members to gather, connect and interact with his lessons. So that’s what he’s built with Disciple – a dedicated space for his dedicated and expanding community.

Rod launched the app in October 2018 and within a few months there were thousands of active members taking part in his online lessons. Using our platform’s livestreaming feature, Rod is able to broadcast live Yoga lessons to all of his community.

Rod’s app – Sanctuary with Rod Stryker – also makes all of his audio guides available and accessible whenever, wherever. With the app, Rod’s community members literally have his audio courses, meditations and Yoga Nidra practices in their pocket and can interact with the community and the content whenever they like.

The app is free to download and use. But, to access the areas of the app that hold all of Rod’s audio courses, members pay a monthly or annual subscription. That means that Rod and his team have a flexible platform that lets them choose how they want to structure the app’s access and subscriptions model to best monetise the content and drive monthly recurring revenue.
