Luke Bryan has today announced his first ever community app through mobile technology company – Disciple. The app is launching on the 24th July. The country music superstar has chosen the Disciple platform as the best way to connect to his millions of online fans in a meaningful way. Online, Luke has 7.7 million Facebook fans and 4.4 million Twitter followers, and he feels this immersive mobile platform is an extraordinary way to be closer to them.
Luke explains the importance of the partnership for fans,
“I really see it as the perfect opportunity to connect with my fans in a very meaningful and direct way,” Bryan said.
Disciple apps enable the fan-to-artist relationship to be a deeper engagement channel. As mobile has become the first screen for many consumers, the appetite amongst celebrities for bespoke direct-to-fan communication has increased in demand. Fans are also more invested in experiences for which they are rewarded for loyalty.
Based on in-depth fan insights, the app is tailored to Luke’s persona and community, delivering ‘in the moment’ fan experiences including real-time live streaming, custom-made and exclusive video, audio and images, ‘talent-fan chats’, one click e-commerce, special competitions, app-only merchandise, friend-ing and messaging and social media aggregation. As well as this, Luke is offering fans a competition comprising of a ‘money can’t buy’ prize experience for one lucky fan – details of which are yet to be announced.
Luke joins a portfolio of clients that Disciple is partnering with, to build bespoke apps for, including Rudimental (multi-award winning UK dance act), Rufus Wainwright (American / Canadian singer-songwriter) and Marcelo Vieira (Real Madrid football player)

Luke’s app will be available to download from the iTunes App Store and Google Play Store from 24th July at $1.99/£1.49/€1.99 per month, or for $22.99/£16.99/€22.99 per year. The first month is a free trial.
