As we mentioned the Discourse software is free but you’ll have to arrange hosting, and that costs money. Discourse will be happy to host your forum for you, and that certainly has some advantages. But their hosting plans can be pricey. The Standard Plan is $100 per month. Their Business Plan is $300 per month and their Enterprise Plan, well, they’d rather not list that price. You’ll have to contact them.
